🔠 'Tell Me; The Grand Vintage Quiz Game'

In this page, I have tried to recreate the vintage game 'Tell Me; The Grand Quiz Game'. It was produced by 'Spears Games' in the 1960s and is no longer available, except in some charity shops and on Ebay.

Here is a summary of the original instructions for play ...

Any number of persons may take part. An Impartial Questioner is chosen, who operates the spinning wheel (I'll come to that later) and asks the questions from the cards, which are placed upside down in three piles - pink, yellow & blue (players choose which colour they would like).

You can play individually, with players calling out words as soon as they think of one in that category that starts with that letter. The one who shouts out a correct answer first keeps the card. If no-one can think of an answer, the card is put back in the pile. The winner at the end of play is the one with the most cards.

Alternatively, you can play in two sides, playing in the same way. If a player calls out a wrong answer, they forfeit that card to the other team.

Here are the questions. You could print these out on card ...

PS I've added a few more questions and categorised them. Feel free to add some more cards as you see fit ...
